So today when I went to check the mailbox and my modern swap parcel was waiting for me I guess you could say that I was more than a little excited!!!
Well.... my hopes & expectations of what I would receive were yet again shall we say, blown out of the water!! My partner turned out to be Megan aka Meg_Kay77. I could not believe how accurately Megan had stalked and pegged me!! She picked all my favourite colours, sent me some beautiful fabric right up my alley - in fact a couple of the prints I have been dying to get my hands on for ages - hello Ruby star rising teacups in blue which had sold out when I went to order!!!! Woot woo...
and the hand made goodies - WOW - so beautifully made and without flaw. She is one talented lady!!
So anyway - on to the good stuff: Here is a little mosaic of what she sent me:
From left to right, top to bottom: Some rainbow magnets for my happy place. Beautiful fabric sent - adore these all but my 2 favourites are the henna garden and teacups, both of which I have been coveting for ages... A mini rainbow bunting which adds the perfect amount of colour to the top of my bookshelf. Some gorgeous fabric covered hair ties and hairclips for the girls... although seeing how beautiful these are and how quickly Hannah tends to lose things I'm tempted to keep these for myself haha ;) Very cute gathered clutch. Wrist pin cushion. Hannah modelling one of the 2 pairs of leg warmers she sent for the girls. Some gorgeous pins for my pin board. And a close up of the bunting, magnets in tin etc...

This has helped my otherwise gloomy demeanor (that's a whole other story... but lets just say that Neil is home in 2 sleeps and COUNTING!!) no end, and I am feeling very very lucky to have 2 very wonderful swap partners recently.
