This week my children were very kind to me - they took me fabric shopping to what I consider to be the best fabric shop in Perth, and this is their Mothers Day present to me:
ok ok I jest... My children are obviously too young to buy me presents... so I took the liberty to choose these on their behalf ;) haha...
I've been on a fabric diet since the beginning of the year and have had to use huge self restraint. But as you can see, I totally caved this week!!
And it doesn't stop there either.... I also put in a huge online order - hopefully I can show you the fruit of that order in a couple of weeks. Mostly for business use of course ;)
And I also picked up these:

That was a very surprising find from Spotlight when I went in to buy the denim for my swap partner... No denim but this instead. I bought 2m and I think it will make some lovely baby boy quilts/blankets to list in my shop.
Right time to reign back in the spending now - it's far too easy to get carried away when buying fabric :)

I bought some of that animal print too, it's lovely isn't it, very soft too. They surprise you every now and then! And I love your other purchases. I made a split hour glass quilt with some Betty Dear and solid white not long ago, of course it's still on the pile of tops to be quilted.
Happy Mother's Day. I'm sure if your daughters were old enough those fabrics are exactly what they'd buy for you. The animal print will make the cutest little boy quilts!!
