** "Family Friday Fun night" with my precious family...
McDonald's for dinner (*gasp - look away food police), funny animated movie (Despicable me), chocolate, cuddles under a cosy homemade quilt in front of the heater. LOVE!
** The promise of 2 whole family days ahead with hubby home from work... (and the sewing that will hopefully result!).
** Newly discovered private fabric swaps on Flickr & the yummy scrummy (in some cases out of print designer) fabrics that will be soon adorning my stash as a result...
all for the small fee of paying postage & sharing some of my (sitting on the shelf collecting dust) stash fabric. HOW COOL is it to get new awesome fabric & not have to pay for it!
(lets not get technical about that shall we! ;) )...

Where do you find these private swaps? Though I am in the middle of doing one with a bloggy friend who needed some Bliss. I am getting scraps for my FWQAL in return. Getting excited over fabric. Got to love it!

I love the anticpation of Fridays . I always hope to achieve a lot over the weekend and to feel relaxed by Sunday! I hope you get time to sew some of the weekend away.

Hope I can find some help from quilters. Trying to track down a fat quarter of Hartfield in teal green. The online stores don't have it.
A few years ago I was doing binding a book with a Regency theme and came across Barbara Brackman's Hartfield fabric in teal green. One of the people who really admired the book, and the fabric has just been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. Our community of friends is making her a quilt. I'd love to use that fabric for my square. However, I can't find a fat quarter anywhere on the net. I have contacted several online retailers, one searched 200 stores.
I am reaching out to quilters, would someone be willing to sell me a fat quarter of Hartfield in teal green. If so, please contact me at fseddon at gmail dot com

Great favourites, and I love Despicable Me, it's a very good movie.
I've been looking at the swaps but I never seem to have what they want when I really really want what they have, lol.
