Giveaway winners...

Well it's been a big bloggy week for me! Thanks guys for making it so fun to celebrate the return of my mental health, for assisting me in my destash and for all of your lovely encouragement about my creations & tutorial this week!!

So now the moment you've all been waiting for... the winner announcements...

Now usually I use our trusty friend Random.Org to figure out the winner for my giveaways, but this time I decided to be a little different & more creative with it and this is how the giveaways were drawn:

"Does it say Hannah?" says Hannah...
"No darling, it says a number... it's not for Hannah!" say I...
"But I want it to be for Hannah I said" said Hannah...
"**Sigh**" did I!

Into the pretty quilted purse went all the numbers, and my lovely assistants picked the winners while I acted as scribe.

No cheating took place I promise!! Hannah can't even read numbers, and trust me she really wouldn't want any of you to win anyway - she's 3 and the world revolves around her didn't you know?! LOL...

So without further ado, my giveaway week winners are:

Giveaway 1: Eye spy charm squares...
Winner = #27, Sharon who said:
"I'd love to go back to Russia. I spent a week there on a trip with my grandpa. It was a wonderful trip. Between my hubs & I, our dream trip is Italy & Spain for horseback riding (him) & wine tasting (me). :)"

Giveaway 2: Blue designer fat quarters....
Winner = #22, Kelly - Fiatcat1 who said:
"Great fabrics - my fav fabric at the moment ( it changes all the time ) is 'Ruby' by moda's bonnie and camille"

Giveaway 3: Scrappy strips...
Winner = #20, Baa me knits who said:
"Love that 'Surprise' you have made, and I'm sure I could use those pieces of fabric to make some little pouches. Apart from your FAB tutorial with the Zipper ends, I find Youtube fantastic for finding out how to do something. There is a knitting one about grafting that I always have to go back to because no matter how hard I try I can never remember the start of the pattern. Nice haul from Spotlight! 40% off...Amazing"

Giveaway 4: Personalised T-shirt from my shop
Winner = #11, Tammi who said:
"Fab giveaway....I love the cool drummer and barcode boys tee's, they would be perfect for Mr K :"

Giveaway 5: Key ring & "uglies"
I had to snort with laughter when I worked out who this winner was!! I PROMISE you that despite what I bet you will believe I did NOT rig this at ALL. Cross my heart!!
The winner = #6, Susan who said:
"Happy birthday, Abbie! Keep on keeping your mum on her toes. It's all good fun!"

** If you are a new follower & have no idea why that winner is so funny then go and read this post... - Looks like this is the second lot of uglies that I will be sending you Susan! You now sure you wanted to enter and win "all" of my giveaways while you were on holiday??!!

Giveaway 6: Eye-spy strips
Winner: #11, DebbieH who said:
"Eh, you know me - lots of ideas but no progress! Love the little pouch :)"

Giveaway 7: The beautiful handmade pouch
Winner: #35 Susan AGAIN**, who said:
"I'm making it into the draw - just! Trying to read posts on my iPad with everyone ready to go out! "

**  If you have come back for a second look and are pondering the fact that you are sure #7 used to be a different winner - then yes, you are not going mad, it did. But it turned out that for some reason Blogger decided to put half my comments for that post in my spam folder. Once I realised that I published them and it therefore changed all the order of the numbers & changed the corresponding winner for Giveaway #7. Since it had been 10 days and the original winner hadn't contacted me to claim their win, I decided to reserve my right to change it to the person who actually should have won, had Blogger not spammed half the comments. I would not ordinarily do that, but since these giveaways were intended to reward my loyal followers, and the original winner had had over a week to contact me, that they had had enough time.... Sorry... but this particular giveaway was intended for my regular supporters - who would therefore read my post & see they had won rather than wait for me to contact them! So that is how Susan became lucky enough to win twice... seriously Susan - go play lotto already! LOL...

So congratulations all of the winners!!
...And I have to say that it feels totally fantastic to actually feel like I know the people I am sending my giveaways to this time!! All of the rest of the time I've done giveaways the winners have been people who only visited to enter the giveaway... always a little bit of a let down.
But this time, in most cases, I feel like I have a personal relationship with you all. How fantastic! Kind of feels like cheating really :)

I only wish that I could send all of my wonderful loyal readers something!! Sorry the rest of you... but let me tell you that I really appreciate & cherish your friendship & support!!

If the winners could please all contact me with your address (unless you know that I otherwise have it in which case don't worry...) & I will send off your parcels next week.

Righto lovely people.... I'm probably going to have a bloggy break for a week now - or possibly slightly longer depending on when our internet will be back on properly. But since Masterchef finishes on Sunday & I have no internet to otherwise distract me, I'm sure I'll be back really soon with lots of lovely things to show you! I also have a couple more tutorials planned so stay tuned!

Take care

HaHa! Someone somewhere has a sense of humour! I think it was very appropriate that if I won something it be the uglies. Thanks so mcu for hosting the giveaways Kat and for your friendship. I'll be back from holiday when you return online so chat to you then. Do you still have my address or do you need it again? And a huge thank you to Hannah. She and Helen are way better than Mr Random Number.

thanks for a great tutorial. I have made a cushion using your tutorial and it was a very easy method of quilting.
