Especially when one's husband has a half day and will be home soon - Yeah that!

Well, since it's the Quilting Bloggers Blog Hop Party Giveaway day starting today (sheesh what a mouthful - try saying that with a mouth full of marshmallows! ;) ) I thought I'd combine my Favourite thing Friday with my celebration giveaway today...

So today, my favourite thing is....

Blogging!!

Yep, blogging indeed!
And December marks a year since I started blogging seriously. Can you believe it's only been a year?

I can't really believe it's only been a year to be honest!
- So much has happened in that year and I have developed so much. I feel like I've known a few of you much longer than that too.
I mean, technically I started blogging earlier than a year ago, but really I only dabbled half heartedly for the first while. It really wasn't until December that I found my voice, (the time) and the passion to start keeping my online "Diary" seriously.

It is really hard to explain how much blogging has changed my life!
For starters, without the blog world I would not be 1% of the crafter I am. I pretty much learnt to sew 100% from blogs! And I do not know where I would be if I didn't craft/sew a little every day.
It really does help keep me sane while I bring up my two darlings! I mean, I love them dearly and could not imagine life without them, but this full-time mothering gig does have it's moments and it's very useful to have a healthy outlet during those moments ya know... ;)

Secondly it has helped me get connected with some truly wonderful and inspirational people!
You all know who you are, I don't need to name you all. Despite the fact that we've never me I consider many of my "bloggy friends" among the closest and most supportive that I have, & definitely among the most inspirational!

So to celebrate blogging, and since this is predominately a quilting/sewing blog after all, today for the Quilter's blog hop I am giving away...
