Favourite Things Friday...

I have been sewing up a storm {again} the last couple of days for my next market on Sunday, so I hadn't thought of a favourite thing to share this week. Not that I'm ever really that organised anyway... but I was thinking of having a day off.
However, then the mail man arrived with some new frames that I'd ordered online a few weeks ago (I couldn't find any large enough, while still being affordable, locally) and I didn't need to have a day off because I could finally frame our gorgeous new photos -
perfect timing!

Because these babies are definitely my favourite thing today...

November 2011 photo shoot

We splashed out on a professional photo shoot with extra large prints back at the end of October so that we could send all our overseas family photos for Christmas. Obviously I can't show you those photos, but these are the ones that we choose for the large prints for ourselves.

They are really quite giant, especially that family art board. I think the small ones are 16x30 inches and the large one is 20x30 inches - so yes, pretty huge!
The colours are also a lot more vivid in real life.

These are the first professional photos that we've had "properly" printed for canvases and large frames.
I am in Mummy love with them!!
Oh my heart do I love those two babies and that handsome hubby of mine!!
{Even if one of those babies IS keeping me up all night with her teething at the moment}

It's also super special to me that the girls are wearing the first outfits that I ever made them, hair clips that I made them & I also made the doll that Hannah carries too. She still loves her Polly loads!

Your photo's are beautiful! We got our's done in Oct. as well. The first time professionally since anna's been born! About time! I was very happy with them as well & did a nice arrangement on my living room wall that I'm very happy with!
Your girls outfits are darling!! I always wish I had more time to sew for my girls, I've only made them a handful of dresses.

Im a firm believer in getting good family photos done every so often. Kids grow up so fast - photos make wonderful memories.
