I'm not, and never have been a shout it from the rooftops kind of girl. Not secretive or anything intentionally, just quite private. But my faith in God deserves a very special mention & page all to it's own, because without God I would not be here and be who I am today.
I am a Christian....
But what does this mean for me?
I believe that the world and everything in it was designed and made by our Creator God...
I refuse to believe that we are accidental, or evolutional or formed by some random explosion...
I believe that our Creator God knows and loves each of us, individually and beyond words or our comprehension...
I believe that the Bible is truth...
I believe that Jesus was the son of God, that he did walk the earth and that he died to set us free from the things we do wrong...
I believe that there is a heaven & a hell and one day we will stand before God &, be sent to one of them...
I believe that God is not an idea or a philosophy, but rather a living God who seeks out a personal relationship with us...
I believe in the Holy Spirit and have seen it work in my life (and body)...
I believe that the Christian faith is not old fashioned or outdated, but rather that our world would be a better place if we each followed God's 10 commandments...

| Not a bunch of rules to adhere by to make life boring! - rather some basic principles to help us honour God & live peacefully with each other... |
I believe that Christians are not called to judge others...
41 "It's easy to see a smudge on your neighbor's face and be oblivious to the ugly sneer on your own.42 Do you have the nerve to say, 'Let me wash your face for you,' when your own face is distorted by contempt? It's this I-know-better-than-you mentality again, playing a holier-than-thou part instead of just living your own part. Wipe that ugly sneer off your own face and you might be fit to offer a washcloth to your neighbor." .... Luke 6:41 The Message

But rather that we are called to LOVE others, regardless of differences in race, colour, faith, sexuality!!...
37 "Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. 40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” ...
Matthew 22:37 The New Living Translation
And think of others as much as ourselves, making sure that we live harmoniously together...
"We must not just please ourselves. 2 We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord. 3 For even Christ didn’t live to please himself...." "....May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other..."
Romans 15: 1-6
We are clearly called (and the Bible talks about in all through it) to accept others, love them, repect them and look after them! Not to judge them, shun them, exclude them, or ignore their needs/pain when we are otherwise equipped to help!...

I believe that God has a plan for my life. And yours too for that matter...

I believe that God has not only called me to be a good wife, & mother, but that my creativity is a gift from him.
""When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I'll listen." .... Jeremiah 29:12
“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." ...
Luke 11:9
The answer isn't always what I want it to be... but that doesn't mean that it's not an answer...
God has answered many of my prayers & I have seen miracles occur with my own eyes.
Not least of all these two...![]() |
| Definitely my two biggest miracles!! |
I was told by my doctor when I was 19 that it would be highly improbable (the gentle way of really saying - highly impossible) for me to have children. 6 more years of ongoing suffering after that conversation, multiple doctors & multiple surgeries all backed that up even further.
But God answered my prayer to have children and today I have the 2 biggest miracles a girl could ever ask for! Multiple doctors were very very surprised - especially that it happened naturally with no medical intervention!
That is only one answer to prayer. There are many more I've experienced. Far too many to even count!...
The story of how I met Neil is also another complete miracle. But that's a story for another day...
So that is how I know without a shadow of a doubt that God exists, he is there listening & loving.
Me & you!
I can't see smell or touch, but I can still feel, hear & know.
That is {my} faith.
PS I'm more than happy to answer your questions if you have them if you email me.
